Education in the Summer?!
Summer is…beaches…sunshine…reading books…swimming…BBQ…leisurely life…and teacher ed time! I like to do all the afore mentioned things in the summer, but it is also a time I can stop, slow down, & assess what worked the prior school year, what areas need just a little tweak, and research what new handy dandy products are out there to make my job a little easier.
So without further ado, here are several products I am hoping to add to my classroom next year! I found all of these products at Mardel.com. This site is chock block full of great items for teaching, homeschool, ebooks, etc.
Here is #1 on my list!
Dry Erase Pockets: These will make great center activities!! Simply print the activity/skill you want to focus on, insert in pocket, students complete activity with a dry erase marker! Erase when they are done & no extra time needed to refill!!
Wish List #2!
Phonics Sing- Along Flipchart: What better way to learn our phonics lessons than singing! Students love to sing & when they forget the rule, they can sing the song!
Wish List #3!
730 Journal Prompts: We love to journal in Mrs. Bertrand’s class, but we sometimes run out of ideas! This book has 2 prompts per day! Wahoo! Love it!!
Cheers to a great summer filled with fun & learning!
